The third act of the Co-lateral Hetero-pedagogies series stages the students’ encounter with the works of the artist Andrei Timofte, with the artist himself and with the curator of the series. Andrei Timofte’s practice, carried out from the perspective of critical art, is based on the activation of methodologies of theoretical and artistic research, the assemblative structuring of video essays, the recording of performative acts and the production of semio-critical objects. The selection of works proposed by the artist traces several interpretative trajectories regarding the transitions between projects of socio-economic orders or applied cultural habits, opens the subject of the creative historiography of the local context through the symbolic reading of decorative or functional domestic objects, invites to go through an artist’s book, as a pretext for meeting and study material for a political understanding of the history of everyday life and its chrono-ideological transformation.
